Simon, the ambitious CEO – The leader who wanted to connect with his people

Simon, a successful CEO, had a reputation for his larger-than-life presentations. He thought he was a great communicator – but his employees had another view. To them, he was a one-man-show who loved the sound of his own voice and who took to the floor believing that everyone ‘got’ his message – which, in actual fact, they didn’t.

Secretly, Simon had a Big Vision, a personal dream. He dreamt of being the next Jack Welch or Richard Branson; a leader who was recognised for making a difference. Someone who was a powerful communicator.

What Simon needed was to show his people another side of himself… His creative side; his ability to talk at a much deeper level and to show wisdom in his approach to leadership. To achieve this, he worked at raising his ‘spiritual’ presence.
